Face shields are a clear plastic barrier that a user wears in front of his or her face to prevent fluid droplets from reaching their face. Having a face shield can serve as an extra layer of protection on top of masks. Face shields are also easier to clean and disinfect than a mask.

This Instructable features a visor and face shield guide that has been tested and approved by the Covid SkunkWorks group. 3D Print instructions can also be found here.

There are many possible sanitation techniques, but SkunkWorks recommends a bath of Isopropanol (IPA) at 75 % concentration for 5 minutes.

This link will take you to a page with other effective sanitization techniques.

Provided effective sanitization procedures are followed, this device should be re-usable indefinitely as long as it is free of defects, cracks, or tears.
