Isolation GownS

Iso gowns are medical gowns designed to reduce airborne particulates or fluids from reaching the medical professionals clothes. They are used as a single use barrier. Iso gowns are an effective PPE to mitigate the spread of infectious diseases by helping prevent the spread of particulates and fluids from attaching to medical professional’s clothing.

Single use isolation gowns are typically not for re-use and sanitization is not required. However re-usable patient gowns and lab coats can be effectively sanitized if these CDC guidelines are followed.

Reuse is not recommended at this time. Isolation gowns are typically used a single time and then discarded.
